Jessica Lockwood is quickly becoming a name to watch in the music world, weaving iridescent soundscapes that range from bluesy rock to pop soul. Coming from Milton, Ontario, she has been passionate about music since age 8, classically trained through the Royal Conservatory of Music before teaching herself to explore her own evolving sound. After taking a break to pursue a University degree in Gerontology and working with seniors with dementia, Jessica returned to music full-time in September 2024, embracing the challenge of rebranding herself and building her career from scratch.

In early 2025, she released three singles—Only Child, Making Moves, and Puzzles—earning editorial playlist placements, thousands of streams, and a growing fanbase, reaching 1000 monthly listeners in just a few months. Her music has caught industry attention, with songs heard by Sony and Atlantic, and pitches made to Billboard and Rolling Stone. With live performances at Sneaky Dee’s, Kensington Unplugged, Buskerfest Port Credit, and Toronto, and recognition like placing 3rd in the Voice To Verse National Songwriting Competition for her original song, “Done Being Nice”, Jessica is carving her space in the music world with authentic storytelling, luminous vocals, and a sound that glows in every shade.

Building on that momentum, Jessica entered her debut EP era at the end of 2025, marking a defining new chapter in her artistic evolution. She began the rollout with the release of “Take A Shot” in December 2025, introducing a bold, anthemic sound that reflects her renewed creative direction. This was followed by “Act Like That” in January 2026, a horn-driven, emotionally sharp track showcasing her storytelling strength and growing sonic confidence. Her upcoming single, “Headliner,” arriving in March 2026, further establishes her identity as a dynamic and genre-fluid artist, blending alternative pop, rock, and soul influences. With her debut EP set for release in early spring 2026, Jessica Lockwood continues to build a vivid, immersive world through her music—one defined by reinvention, emotional clarity, and a fearless commitment to her artistic vision.
